Gossip Web sites have been buzzing with rumors, gossip and hearsay as to which celebs will be included in the second season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew — and most of them have been wrong! Allow us to set the record straight (via a VH1 press release):

Similar to the first cycle, the second season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at a center in the Los Angeles area. The show will follow Jeff Conaway as he checks back into rehab after a series of back surgeries, setbacks and subsequent reliance on pain medications. Joining him in rehab are Sean Stewart (Sons of Hollywood), Amber Smith (model/actress), Rodney King, Nikki McKibbon (American Idol), Steven Adler (Guns n Roses) and Tawny Kitaen (Actress). Gary Busey, who is 13 years sober, will also be joining the cast to share his experiences and thoughts on the recovery process.

“Yes, I am a very determined person who puts her career first - above all things,” she says pointedly. “Love and friendship, all can wait. I have lost a lot of friends because of this determination. Today my priorities are my career and my family and I will do anything to nurture the two of them!”

Scarlett Johansson has hit out at stick thin Hollywood actresses.

The 'Lost In Translation' star, famed for her curvaceous body, insists the movie industry is too obsessed with the weight of their leading ladies and admits she is worried about the pressure to stay super slim.

She said: "It is obvious to me that there is an overwhelming amount of women, of actors I look at, and they're too thin for my taste."

Scarlett, 21, says she finds the emphasis put on actresses weight and the seemingly endless list of fad diets exasperating - because they are far more important things happening in the world that deserve attention.

She added in an interview with Scotland's Daily Record newspaper: "There's mass genocide and starvation and epidemics but people don’t want tot talk about those things - they just want to talk about who eats what for lunch. Who cares? I think all Americans are obsessed with weight and it's wrong."

John Polley, a 50 year-old former train driver from London managed to create a replica of Abbey Road underground train station in his own home, in Hertfordshire, at a scale of 4mm/30cm.

This large train set, so large that when assembled it took up most of the space in John Polly’s house,was built in approximately 2 years and is amazingly detailed. It’s not only complete with audio messages like “Mind the gap” or “This is Abbey Road”, but one can also spot The Beatles crossing the street (just as on their “Abbey Road” album cover) – he used them as they are considered the symbol of London. Head and tail lighting was mounted on every train and some also have video cameras to offer a driver’s eye perspective on the set.

John Polley used different types of materials to build up his train set, like old key rings, which he used for some vehicles, or shop window display signs, used for the buildings. The trains were designed by Polley himself and he had them custom made in SriLanka.

“I started building it during the day in my garage because I worked night shifts. The hardest part was getting the correct details. It does need regular maintenance like clearing grease, dusting off the rails and cleaning the electrical contacts. I would like to extend it by another five to ten feet in the future,” John Polley said .

Birds love Ylang-Ylang & so do I. Depending upon whom you ask, the name means Flower Of Flowers, Rare or Wilderness. In trad herb lore, it is a flower of Venus & the essential oil is officially recognised for langour & euphoria inducing qualities, along with the ability to help cure various ailments from motion sickness to high blood pressure. Margaret Mead noted that the South Pacific island dwellers used it liberally as an aphrodisiac, sprinkling it on beds & what-not.

Personally, i love the reek of it so much that i bung it everywhere; into big bottles of sweet almond oil to make body oil, into the sheets wash, floor wash, in an atomiser bottle to spray around as room freshener…Would cook with it if i could. The Wiki for it has this fabulous line re the scent; “The fragrance of ylang-ylang is rich and deep with notes of rubber and custard, and bright with hints of jasmine and neroli.”

And, a la the G.F.C. situation AND increasing concerns re toxic ingredients in perfumes, why not create your own concoctions with actual ingredients proven to enhance mood et al? Anyway, if you don’t have any in the house, try to snort some essential oil of Ylang-Ylang before the Full Moon & see if you do not notice the effect.

Almost everyone knows someone who has diabetes. An estimated 23.6 million people in the United States—7.8 percent of the population—have diabetes, a serious, lifelong condition. Of those, 17.9 million have been diagnosed, and 5.7 million have not yet been diagnosed. About 1.6 million people ages 20 or older were diagnosed with diabetes.

Diabetes is a disease wherein the body fails to manufacture or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone the body uses to convert starches, sugar, and other food products into energy for the body to use to allow it to function properly. The four major types of diabetes are Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and pre-diabetes.

World-wide, diabetes affects huge numbers of people. In the United States alone, over 6% of the population — roughly 18 million people — are diabetic. While the exact causes remain a mystery, researchers have discovered certain symptoms. These symptoms include extreme thirst and hunger, frequent urination, blurred vision, weight loss, fatigue, and irritability.

For people with Type 1 diabetes, insulin must be taken every day. A diabetic will generally administer the insulin shot using a syringe or have someone else administer the shot for him. This type is more common in Caucasians and in people who live in colder climates.

Type 2 diabetes can often be controlled by monitoring the food one eats and by partaking in regular physical exercise. Some Type 2 diabetics may also need to take insulin shots or pills to regulate their blood sugar levels. Obesity is a major factor in acquiring Type 2 diabetes. If a person has an unhealthy diet of fatty food and exercises infrequently, he may be walking a path that will lead directly to this disease.

Pregnant women who become diabetic during their pregnancy have what is called gestational diabetes. This form of the disease affects approximately 4% of all pregnant women in the United States. Women who become diabetics during their pregnancy are likely to have a family history of diabetes. Obesity again may play a factor.

Pre-diabetes is simply a term for an individual who has blood glucose levels higher than normal. People with this condition are not quite at diabetic levels, but are more likely to develop the disease.

Though children of diabetics will not necessarily inherit the disease from their parents, research has shown that these children are more likely to get the disease than children of non-diabetics. Type 1 is also less common in people who were breastfed as infants.

Diabetes is a serious disease which can lead to heart problems, strokes, loss of limbs due to poor circulation, and death. Research continues to indicate that regular exercise and a healthy diet are two factors which can help people avoid this condition, as well as allow diabetics to have functional lives. Anyone who experiences some of the symptoms of diabetes should seek a doctor’s advice. Unfortunately, millions of people across the globe have diabetes, but it goes undetected because they ignore the symptoms and do not seek medical attention.
